This is a Velocette motor-cycle with a 250 c.c. two stroke engine, 3 speed gearbox, and magneto ignition. It works well with any kind of petrol.
The cylinder behind the fuel tank makes and stores the acetylene. All you do, is fill it with water and drop a little stone of acetylene !
Here we see the engine with a normal carburetor, and a separate gearbox.
Both front and rear lights burn acetylene !
